Time before Wedding

Tasks Which Should Be Complete or Near Completion

10 Months

__ Booked Hall, Band or DJ, Florist, Photographer, and Videographer.
__ Planned and organized a preliminary guest list.

Early research on both of these will guide you into formulating a budget right for you.

7 Months

__ Guest list finalization, including addressing issues of out-of-town guests.
__ Gift registry.
__ Honeymoon travel plans.
__ Ordered your wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses.

4 Months

__ Limousine booked.
__ Invitations ordered.
__ Planned Groom and groomsmens attire.
__ Ordered your wedding favors.

2 Months

__ Final arrangements made with your Florist.
__ Sent your invitations out.
__ Ordered your wedding rings.
__ Gone over menu with reception hall manger.
__ Ordered wedding cake.
__ Started planning document name changes (Credit cards, Drivers License., etc.)

1 Month

__ Confirmed with your M.C. (Band leader or DJ) on the reception activities, especially special musical requests and dedications.
__ Refreshed your mind with the flow of the religious  ceremony by speaking to your priest, rabbi, or minister.

20 Days

__ Marriage license.
__ Confirmed travel plans with your limousine service.
__ Confirmed plans with your florist, baker, photographer, and videographer.
__ Verified that all your guests have responded and guests who will come have been accounted for in your seating plan.
__ Gone over the final seating plan with the reception hall manager.

10 Days

__ Received your wedding dress.
__ Received your wedding rings.
__ Selected one or more persons who know the details of your wedding day flow, to supervise the progress throughout  the day.

3 Days

__ Packing done for your honeymoon trip.
__ Picked up your rings.
__ Attended ceremony rehearsal.
